A few of the things I've built, in education and lately in code.
Platzi English Academy
Bilingual English learning for Latin America, built from zero.
I built Platzi's English Academy from nothing to 1M+ students, a bilingual product designed for working adults across Latin America who need English for their careers. It taught me most of what I know about retention, and about how differently people learn a language when it actually matters to their livelihood.
Platzi Content Engine
Leading educational content across the whole platform.
I lead the creation of all of Platzi's educational content, the instructional design, the production pipeline, the curriculum decisions. The interesting problem here isn't any single course; it's how you keep quality high while producing at real velocity.
AI in the learning loop
Figuring out where AI actually helps a learner.
An ongoing thread rather than a single project: putting AI agents into real use around education, and being honest about where they change the learning loop for the better and where they just add noise. Some of it ships, some of it is me experimenting in the open.
A mod for a game I love
Because building for fun is still building.
Outside of work I built a mod for a videogame, a whole side quest in learning to ship something just for the joy of it. It's the clearest reminder I have that the muscle of building is the same whether it's a product or a hobby.
